My name is Tiffany Brand and I'm a postpartum doula based out of Eastern CT offering support to flourishing families during this precious and monumental chapter of life. I am a mom, myself, with a passion for empowering parents as they transition from pregnancy to parenthood. I am actively pursuing certification with DONA International, the first certifying organization for doulas worldwide, and am DONA trained, at present. I look forward to working together to navigate the many nuances of all things postpartum.

Bringing a new baby home can pose some challenges in transitioning into managing a household while simultaneously taking care of a newborn. A postpartum doula can offer assistance in staying on top of those mundane, yet necessary, tasks (folding laundry, meal prep, washing bottles, etc.)
With a plethora of (mis)information available out there in the world online and on social media, you can rest assured that your postpartum doula can provide you with the most up-to-date and reliable information and resources in a wide variety of areas (breast/bottle feeding, sleep safety, support groups, etc.)
The hormonal and day-to-day shift that comes with being postpartum is a normal part of new parenthood. Sometimes, it can be difficult navigating your feelings as they pertain to your new lifestyle. Your postpartum doula will work with you on learning to check in on yourself, your needs, and collaborate with you to develop tools to cope with and embrace these changes.
